They are extremely durable, slip resistant, stain resistant (a penetrating sealer makes them more so). They also retain and radiate heat (for use in passive solar homes).

The true elegance of slates lies in their colours, from solid hues like black, multicolour red, green, grey, to mottled and mixed tones that resemble earthy abstract watercolours.

The calibrated tiles are available with classic natural split surface or with honed surface (smooth & matt).

Standard square tiles are 300x300x10 mm (12"x12") ,400x400x10 mm (16"x16") ,500x500x10 mm(20"x20") ,600x600x10 mm (24"x24"x3/4"). Rectangle tiles are 300x600x10 mm (12"x24"x3/4") and 400x600x10 mm (16"x24"x3/4")

The tiles above are made by automatic machineries that permit to obtain good tiles at a reasonable cost.

We also offer on request, according to your measures : window sills, stair step pieces, skirting boards and countertops and other tile sizes made by natural slates.

We have selected this beautiful quartzite grey with natural split surface modified by brushing .

These dark grey quartzite tiles can create a real atmosphere in any home. They are both rich in texture and depth.

They look just as good on walls as they do on floors. Background colour, veining and movement of these quartzite tiles are very limited. Slate often splits along its own natural planes of weakness.

These quartzite tiles are perfect for inside and outside thanks to their hardness and low adsorption.

They are also for high traffic flooring like shops or public building. The surface obtained is slip resistant but still easy to clean thanks to brushing procedure.

We propose this stone in 400x600x12 mm (16"x24"). Other sizes would be available only in large quantities.
